At the 2017 American Association of Private Lender’s (AAPL) Annual Conference this November, our CEO Bob Eakin proudly accepted the Community Impact Award. He consistently goes above and beyond for the Southern California community as well as communities around the world.
Locally, he has organized a Feed the Homeless project in the riverbed of Anaheim and volunteered at the Teen Entrepreneur/ Kid Entrepreneur Academy at Concordia University Irvine. He is also involved with Rescue a Generation who provides coaching, empowerment, and the Gospel to students, youth workers, and communities. He sponsors their leadership video training program for inner city kids that are distributed throughout Southern California. Another local organization that receives Bob’s help is Urban Youth Worker’s Institute, in which he sponsors their manhood camp. This camp provides underprivileged, inner city kids with general life skills such as job interview preparation, hygiene, manners,, and much more.
Globally, Bob is thoroughly vested in an organization called 7 Day Hero. He has travelled to Peru with 7 Day Hero for extensive medical relief and outreach. Together, they sponsored transportation for the handicapped, visited orphanages, and supported a school for the poor. They brought a team of doctors from the United States to care for the Amazonian people who had never received medical care before. Additionally, Bob has visited Vietnam twice with 7 Day Hero to provide eye surgeries to the blind and support a leprosy center outside of Saigon.
The private lenders at JCAP are so proud of our fearless leader for his positive impact on the company and our surrounding community.
